En français plus bas <> We aimed at approaching Aurélien Froment's work by using references which are not among those of the artist. These carefully-chosen references created an intertextuality which sparked commentary. The very space separating words and things-in other words, the sign-an important motif in Froment's art, inspired the following train of thought.
